These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at stechza.org (the "Site") and any professional services provided by Stechza ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the Site
You may browse and reference the Site for lawful, non-commercial purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without prior written permission, scrape it at unreasonable rates, or use it to transmit unlawful or harmful content.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, layouts, code, graphics, and the Stechza name and logo — is owned by Stechza or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by law.
3. Client engagements
Professional services we provide (design, development, consulting, retainers) are governed by a separate written Statement of Work or service agreement signed by both parties. In the event of conflict between these Terms and a signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Ownership of deliverables
Unless your signed agreement says otherwise, ownership of paid-for deliverables transfers to you upon full payment. We retain ownership of underlying tools, libraries, and design systems we developed before or independent of the engagement, and grant you a perpetual licence to use them inside the delivered product.
Portfolio rights
We may publicly reference our work for you — including screenshots, name, logo, and case-study text — unless we agree to confidentiality in writing.
4. Fees and payments
Fees, payment schedules, and currencies are set out in your individual agreement. Invoices not paid within the agreed terms may accrue late charges and result in suspension of ongoing work. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.
5. Apps published by Stechza
Software we publish to the App Store or Mac App Store is governed by Apple's End User Licence Agreement and any additional in-app terms we present. The Site terms do not replace those.
6. Disclaimers
The Site and any free materials we publish are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Specific warranties for paid work, if any, are stated in your service agreement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stechza will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Our total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Stechza harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
9. Third-party links
The Site may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those external resources.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will do so.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be submitted to the courts of Faisalabad, Pakistan, unless your separate service agreement specifies otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
